Kazimierz Siemionowicz was a Polish-Lithuanian artillery general as well as a military engineer and a gunsmith. He was artillery specialist and pioneer of rocketry. He was born in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and he served the armies of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth which since 1569 became a Nobless Democracy in which by 1634 lived over one million of free citizens. General Siemionowicz spent a few years in the Netherlands where he published in Latin his pioneering book on rocketry. No portrait or detailed biography of him has survived and much of his life is a subject of dispute. He was educated at the Jesuit University of Vilno and was fascinated by artillery since childhood, and he studied many sciences to increase his knowledge (mathematics, mechanics, hydraulics, architecture, optics, tactics). In 1632-1634 he took part in the war against Muscovy in the siege of Biała under general Mikołaj Abromowicz and in 1644 he took part in the Battle of Ochmatów.  During the Spanish-Dutch war; he participated in the Siege of Hulst in 1645. In 1646 he returned to Poland, when King Wladyslaw IV created the Polish artillery corps and gathered specialists from Western Europe, planning a war against Turkey and its vassal the Crimean Tartars. He served as an engineering expert in the field of artillery and rocketry in the royal artillery forces. From 1648 he served as Second in Command of Polish Royal Artillery. In late 1648 the newly elected king John Casimir Vaza who gave up plans for the war with Ottomans advised him to return to the Netherlands and publish his studies there. Friday-the first day of the visit of U.S. President Barak Obama in Poland. Flying out of France, the president flew to Warsaw, 20 minutes before time. It turns out that at the airport  Okecie  he spoke  with veterans invited to  welcome him, it is not known whether if  among them  was  Admiral Kolodziejczyk , who  on one time had  the name of  Robert Caimer (Semitic)1. Sun Tzu to chiński kondotier, który żył dwa i pół tysiąca lat temu. Bez wątpienia jest największym orientalnym mistrzem strategii wojennej. Nauczał, że „wojowanie jest oparte na oszukiwaniu” (str. 9). I tłumaczył: „stąd wynika, że walczyć i podbijać we wszystkich swoich bitwach nie stanowi największego sukcesu. Największy sukces to umiejętność złamania oporu wroga bez walki” (str. 15). Sun Tzu był po prostu prekursorem wojny psychologicznej. Arcydzieło „Sztuka wojny” („The Art of War”, tłum. Lionel Giles, red. Dallas Galvin; Barnes and Noble Classics, New York, 2003 – za wydaniem z 1910 r.) podzielone jest na 13 ksiąg – od „formułowania planów” do „wykorzystania szpiegów”. Ogólnie biorąc, prawdziwy strateg powinien znać geografię, historię, kulturę oraz psychologię. Podobnie jak „Księcia” Machiavellego, również „Sztukę wojny” można czytać jak długie podanie o pracę. „Generał, który posłucha mej rady i ją zastosuje, zwycięży – tego trzeba zatrzymać jako komendanta! Odezwał się do mnie ambasador Hugh Montgomery. To legenda amerykańskiego wywiadu. Urodzony w 1923 roku, ukończył Harvard – od bakałarza do doktoratu. Tam też nauczał. W tzw. międzyczasie, od 1942 roku, jako ochotnik służył w armii USA. Oddelegowano go do Office of Strategic Services (OSS), czyli Biura Służb Strategicznych – pierwszej organizacji wywiadowczej w historii USA. Jednocześnie w armijnej Służbie Wywiadu (Intelligence Branch) osiągnął stopień pułkownika. Do CIA dr Montgomery wstąpił w 1952 roku – prosto z Harvardu. Służył w Europie i w Sowietach. W 1981 roku z CIA przeszedł do Departamentu Stanu. Przez cztery lata pracował jako dyrektor Biura Wywiadu i Badań (Bureau of Intelligence and Research). Następnie przeniesiono go z powrotem do CIA, do jednej z najważniejszych komórek nadzorczych (Senior Review Panel). Wnet jednak w randze ambasadorskiej oddelegowano go do ONZ jako reprezentanta USA do spraw politycznych. Funkcje tę sprawował do 1989 roku, gdy znów znalazł się w CIA (SRP).
