Jewish Identity Today: Holocaust/Israel, Consequences of Assimilation, Anti-Semitism and Anti-Goyism

Monday, June 26, 2017
Review based on 1981 edition.] Jacob Neusner notes that modes of thinking and behavior may have originated from non-Jews, but "became Jewish" by being adapted by Jews as their own. For instance, the Talmudic dialectic did not originate with Jews. It found derivation from Greek forms of rhetoric, as well as ancient Roman principles of legal codification. (p. 49).

Preserving Memory: The Struggle to Create America's Holocaust Museum; The Taxpayer-Funded Palace of Holocaust Supremacy (USHMM) Sits Right in the Nation’s Capital

Monday, June 26, 2017
The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum (USHMM) is the palace—open in 1993. The Nazi German genocide of 5-6 million Jews is a fact; its “self-evident” special status is not. Although not putting it in these terms, this book provides an eye-opening description of various subterfuges used to elevate the genocide of the Jews (Shoah) to pre-eminence. At the same time, there is the minimizing of all the many genocides of non-Jews, and of “throwing some crumbs” to them in order to deflect objections. [For a survey of the dozens of genocides that had collectively consumed at least 100 million human lives, and that in only the 20th century, please see my review of DEATH BY GOVERNMENT, by Rummel. Note that Jews are just 6% of this conservative total] >>more...

Krzyz i narod polski

Wednesday, June 21, 2017
>>more...

Jewish Poland Revisited: Heritage Tourism in Unquiet Places;NOT GERMANY, POLAND: A UNIQUELY MALEVOLENT PLACE—IN THE JEWISH MIND

Friday, June 16, 2017
This book can be useful for those readers interested in a compendium of Polish-Jewish interactions in modern Poland. Most of it, however, is standard fare (as elaborated in the latter part of my review). The most distinctive part of the book is as follows: >>more...

Jewish Collaboration With the Nazis: How Jews Tried to Deal With It. Insufficient Analyses of Basic Questions That Are Raised;ONCE A SINGLE STANDARD FOR COLLABORATION

Thursday, June 15, 2017
A Jewish honor court was one that determined whether a Jew was, based on his wartime conduct, entitled to standing in the Jewish community. This work takes a mostly geographically-oriented approach, focusing on post-WWII Jewish honor courts in Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, France, etc.

After a flurry of Jewish interest in the immediate postwar years, the question of Jewish collaboration became taboo in the 1960s and 1970s. (Jockusch and Finder, p. 12). In recent years, with the passage of time, this question has passed from a moral to a historical plane, and there is no longer any need to attribute blame or valor. (ibid, p. 15). [Has it? Would it not be more accurate to say that the question of blame has been erased by the tendency to see Jews unilaterally as victims and never as victimizers? For more on this, please click on, and read my review, of International Humanitarian Law and International Human Rights Law (The Collected Courses of the Academy of European Law)]. >>more...

The Polish Blue Police and the Jewish Ghetto Police: No Dualism in German-Serving Poles and German-Serving Jews;JEWISH COLLABORATORS—NOT POLISH COLLABORATORS—MADE THE GERMAN-MADE SHOAH A SUCCESS!

Thursday, June 15, 2017
The Polish Blue Police and the Jewish Ghetto Police: No Dualism in German-Serving Poles and German-Serving Jews! This work presents a wealth of information. Owing to the fact that the conduct of the Polish Blue Police (POLICJA GRANATOWA) has been presented, in a rather lurid manner, by neo-Stalinist authors such as Jan T. Gross and Jan Grabowski, Yitzhak Zuckerman’s eyewitness testimony serves as an eye-opening corrective. >>more...

The holocaust Jewish debate in Israel in 1950-tiesWhen Jewish Collaboration With the Nazis Was Recognized as a Valid Consideration. Strong Anti-Polish Innuendo

Thursday, June 15, 2017
This works features the Judenrat controversy, the question of Jewish heroism, martyrdom, and "passivity". However, this stands out over everything else in this book:

the Entire Nazi German Forced-Labor System. Features Jewish KAPOS;

Thursday, June 15, 2017
The Nazis started to use foreigners for forced labor in 1939 (p. 69), but especially from 1940. Goebbels stated that "Roma [Gypsies], Jews, and Poles will receive identical treatment" in this regard. (p. 13). >>more...

“Choiceless Choice”

Thursday, June 15, 2017
There are books that become known less for their content, and more for an idea that they had introduced or popularized. This book is one of them. Lawrence L. Langer and his “Choiceless Choice” has become part of Holocaustpeak, thanks in large part to this book. My review exclusively focuses on this >>more...
