All About Poland: Facts, Figures, Documents

Friday, October 30, 2009
This work, written shortly after the fall of Poland in 1939, is essentially a mini-encyclopedia of interwar Poland. It includes the "miracle of Gdynia", in which Poland transformed a fishing village into a major port in ten years. In 1924, Gdynia handled 58 ships; in 1938 nearly 13,000 ships. (pp. 184-185). >>more...

Architects of Annihilation: Auschwitz and the Logic of Destruction

Friday, October 30, 2009
This eye-opening book, written by a German scholar, goes beyond Nazi anti-Semitism and racism as the sole explanations for German genocidal policies. The Reich had reduced humans to economic commodities.

German economists, as elaborated by Aly, had studied Poland and come to the conclusion that her inefficiencies had been caused by a combination of Polish mismanagement and Jewish economic dominance. (pp. 53-59; see also p. 230). There was "overpopulation" (p. 43, 54, etc.), defined as follows: "Consequently, they would be consuming the theoretically possible surpluses that could otherwise have been invested in increasing the national income or promoting industrialization". (p. 60) >>more...

Between Fear and Hope

Friday, October 30, 2009
A Surprising Resemblance to Jan T. Gross' FEAR, October 24, 2009 Is Jan Tomasz Gross' FEAR (2007) largely a clone of this 1947 Communist-like hatchet job on Poland? There is the one-sided portrayal of Poles rejoicing at Jewish deaths during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising (p. 74). Kazimierz Wyka is quoted as saying that the absence of a Quisling under the German occupation had prevented anti-Semitism from becoming discredited among Poles (pp. 45-46). Accounts of Jews killed by Poles are elaborated, and always presented without verification and in a contextual vacuum. Poles are portrayed as unilaterally resisting postwar Jewish re-acquisitions of their properties. The so-called Kielce Pogrom is naively presented as the outcome of Poles acting on their belief in the blood libel. The church is blamed for its "slow" and ineffective response, and the Pogrom is magnified into a horrible blight upon all of Poland. >>more...

Ukrainian Fascism (OUN-UPA): Genocide of Jews and Poles (1941-1947)

Friday, October 30, 2009
The list author says: "Fascism...genocide...collaboration...The OUN, a group of Ukrainian fascists (whose eventual goal was a totalitarian, ethnically-pure pan-Ukrainian empire) sought a Ukrainian-Nazi puppet state. Never promised it, they blindly collaborated with the Nazis in the genocide of Jews, and then killed 180,000-300,000 Poles (limited only by Polish defenses) and thousands of independent-minded Ukrainians. >>more...

Ethnic Cleansing in Twentieth Century Europe(revue)

Friday, October 30, 2009
A Comprehensive Though Germanocentric Work: Includes the WWII Ukrainian-Fascist OUN-UPA Genocide of Poles, October 27, 2009 This extensive anthology is broad-based, with chapters on many different acts of ethnic cleansing and genocide. We learn that the Iroquois annihilated the Hurons and then attempted the same against the French. (Dreisziger, pp. 47-49). In the Boer War, British concentration camps held 116,000 Afrikaners (30,000 died) and 100,000 blacks (14,000 died). (Tooley, p. 73). Let's keep things in perspective. Tooley writes: "As noted, the Soviet regime cleansed more ethnic groups than any regime in history." (p. 87). >>more...

Russian lies about Poland never end

Monday, October 26, 2009
After WWI and the foundation of the Republic of Poland, the new nation was in great danger to its very existence as it was weaker than the growing power of Germany and Russia. The essence of the predicament of Poland and a threat to its independence and even to its existence, prior to the Second World War was summarized in the testament of Marshal Józef Piłsudski. He told the Poles: “veer as long as possible between Germany and Russia; if this becomes impossible, bring in to the conflict the rest of the world.” >>more...

Uprzedzenia judaizmu oraz inne oblicze śp. Marka Edelmana

Monday, October 26, 2009
I kochał szokować. Widziałem się z nim kilka lat temu w Warszawie. Opowiedział mi wtedy zdarzenie z Powstania Warszawskiego. Leżał ranny w szpitalu u sióstr na rogu Stołecznej i Krasińskiego. Gdy wróg zdobywał szpital, matka przełożona miała powiedzieć zakonnicom, aby były spolegliwe seksualnie dla żołnierzy, żeby Niemcy nie wymordowali rannych. I dlatego Edelman przeżył. Utrzymywał, że to najprawdziwsza historia. >>more...

Jezus w Talmudzie. Niepoprawny politycznie obraz Żydów

Monday, October 19, 2009
Zbieram sobie zawsze rozmaite informacje, szufl adkuję. Dotyczy to też spraw żydowskich. >>more...
